This is a picture of my Hallows. Dipicted is my Well, Sacred Fire, and World Tree. In the future I would like to add an oil lamp to replace my candle. It is a work in progress, but here it is at the moment.
I have been thinking a lot on some additions that I will be adding to my home shrine. After serious contemplation I have decided that I am going to start using my Hestia lamp as the representation of the sacred fire. My reasoning behind it is Hestia gave her trone up on Olympious to inhabit the hearths on earth (Thanks to Marek, from the Hellenic mailing list for helping me remember this). Her virtue was of the sacrificial flame, and that in accordance is the meaning behind the fire we use in our hallows. However, since this is a new concept for me I am going to try using the Hestia Lamp as stated above for a few rituals, and then a few without. I will keep a journal of the occurances, and make my decision accordingly.
Another addition I would like to make sometime in the near future is I would like to obtain a statue to Dionysus. I know that this is something that is not manditory, but non the less I would still like to have one of my patron.
